Musab The Student

While doing my RIBA part 1 at the University for the Creative Arts, I developed a love for narrative based architecture, this made me realise that conceptual development makes the most valuable design and that built form should react to its context, and most importantly- the people that inhabit it.

Musab The Employee

I then worked at POD Architects where I gained 17 months of professional practise, as well as invaluable experience on projects right across the architecture spectrum. During this period I developed 3D Modelling and rendering skills, and furthered my technical drawing ability. The experience taught me the value of attention to detail and made me an even better problem solver. This is where I learned the value of communication within a team, and later on as I was afforded more responsibility, the value of of being able to manage deadlines.

Musab The Freelancer

Since then I ventured into the world of freelance design, quickly learning time management and the level of rigour required to maintain professional drawing standards for planners, engineers and clients, without the safety net of having a project manager to rely on. I currently have 2 projects on site, as well as 3 more in design stage.

Musab's Plans

Moving forward I wish to continue to independently deliver projects, and build on my existing skill set and client relationships. As well as this I plan to fund my RIBA Part 2 (masters degree) by working full time for the near future.

If you would like more information please download my CV and Monograph via the links provided.

Thanks, Musab.
