Brief //

The client, as well as the local council felt that the development of affordable living flats was desperately needed in the dense local area. In response a developed design included 4 floors of affordable living flats as well as a penthouse level offering views of east london set back from the front facade to be sensitive to the street and character of the local area.

 

Proposals // 

1. Demolition of existing picture house to erect 5 storeys of flats.

2. 3 retail units on ground floor.

3. Penthouse level of 4 3 bedroom flats.
